Who doesn’t love a tea party? I have created a tea caddy, a table setting caddy and tea menu using Deflecto’s storage cubes and frame. Read on and I will show you how I made them!<\/div>\n

First up is the tea caddy. \u00a0I started out with a four drawer storage cube and decoupaged it with vintage tissue paper and paper flowers that I made.<\/p>\n

You will need these supplies to get started:<\/u><\/p>\n

Deflecto Stackable Cube Organizer\u00a0<\/a>4 Drawer #350301CR<\/a>
\nDeflecto Stackable Cube Organizer<\/a>\u00a0“X” Divider #350301CR<\/a>
\nDeflecto Clear 4 x 6 Craft Frame #59750CR<\/a>
\nTissue paper with a pretty pattern
\nCardstock to make the flowers
\nDimensional Adhesive dots
\nPaper punches or die cuts: \u00a0Circles: 1-3\/4″. 1-1\/2″ & 1″
\nRoyale Coat decoupage\u00a0medium
\nDimensional Magic (for flowers)
\n1″ flat paint brush or sponge brush
\nScissors
\nPaper plates, paper towels, water bucket<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0Get started by taking a sheet of your chosen tissue paper and wadding it up into a ball. \u00a0Smooth it back out into a flat sheet, but leave in the wrinkles! \u00a0Cut a 6″ wide piece of tissue, x the full length of the sheet. Apply decoupage medium to one side of the cube and press one end of the tissue paper into the wet medium. Make sure to line up all of the edges. \u00a0Repeat around the entire Cube. \u00a0Cut extra and repeat the process if you need to. \u00a0Gently smooth the paper with your hands. \u00a0Allow to dry and then apply a top coat of the decoupage medium. \u00a0Allow to dry thoroughly.<\/p>\n

Make the flowers or other embellishments you may be using. \u00a0I punched out the circles from the various colored cardstock. \u00a0Everything shown was cut from the circles, layered and adhered using the dimensional adhesive tabs.<\/p>\n

I created the menu on the computer and embellished the frame with the flowers. \u00a0Each is attached with a dimensional adhesive.<\/div>\n

The X-Divider Cube has the tissue paper decoupaged to it as for the 4-drawer cube. \u00a0After it is dry; attach the embellishment to the top corner as shown. There are now four divided areas to place napkins, table service, stirrers, straws, etc.<\/div>\n

The teapot shown in the vignette below is one I made in a ceramics class years ago. \u00a0It ‘s hard to find a shop where it is possible to purchase greenware and craft your\u00a0own ceramic pieces these days.<\/div>\n
